What do you need to submit an ACC application for aside from lot clearing and new construction? The following are some of the things that REQUIRE approval - remember, if in doubt ASK!:
- Removal of any viable / living tree over 6" in diameter (as measured no higher than 1 foot above the ground surface)
- Fencing
- Deck or Porch
- In-ground pools
- Tanks or Ponds
- Guest or Servant Building
- Garage or Additions to Dwelling
- Remodeling that alters the exterior of the house
- Out Buildings and Sheds
- Driveway or Culvert
The following are some of the things that do not require approval:
- Maintenance including painting using the existing colors
- Irrigation Systems
- Landscaping that does not add structures, fences, ponds, etc. or affect or change structures
- Removal of brush or pruning of trees. Small trees under 6 inches in diameter like Yaupon. Removal of one or two dangerous dead or dying trees
- Interior remodeling that does not affect the exterior appearance
